NetAcquire SpaceWire
NetAcquire systems support the SpaceWire (IEEE 1355) data bus I/O protocol. SpaceWire is commonly used as a spacecraft communications bus – it offers high speed (400 Mbps), very low error rates, deterministic system behavior, and low power consumption. The NetAcquire SpaceWire option provides four bi-directional SpaceWire channels with options for additional channel expansion. This option leverages the full power of the NetAcquire architecture including real-time network routing, message parsing, data recording, traffic simulation, and bit error rate testing. SpaceWire-unique capabilities are also supported, including time code packet generation with cross-channel propagation and packetized/non-packetized streams. Applications for the NetAcquire SpaceWire option include satellite vehicle test, avionics hardware emulation, network data distribution, and communications gateways.
